The author does a good job of breaking the subject down and introducing it to the every day person. He includes many scientific studies and anecdotal stories to make his points.

However, as an avid reader of self-help books, I found this one to be very slow reading after the first few chapters. The author repeats himself a lot. Others may find the repetition useful, such as for a nightstand book where you are taking it one chapter at a time, but I found it tedious.

The author also provides multiple supporting studies for each concept he introduces. Again, tedious for some, but important to others.
